05-19-2023 – Milan Union Cemetery Association Annual Meeting will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 9:30am at Milan Town Hall, 20 Wilcox Circle, Milan, NY. All plot owners are welcome.

03-07-2023 – Notice Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act
01-23-2023 – CLICK HERE FOR THE FLYER for the upcoming Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health rabies clinic, free to Dutchess County residents. This clinic for dogs, cats and ferrets has been scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 8 am to 12 pm. The clinic will be held at the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538. Please feel free to let pet owners in your community know about this upcoming event which we are co-sponsoring with the Dutchess County SPCA. Registration will be open tomorrow, January 24, 2023.
Due to the COVID Pandemic Pre-registration is required. Pet Owners can go to DCSPCA.org or call 845-452-7722 x 425.
For the safety of all attendees and clinic workers, dogs must be on a leash; cats and ferrets must be in carriers. The cost for non-Dutchess County residents is $10/pet.

11-29-22 – Due to no submittals, the December 7th Planning Board meeting has been cancelled.
11-22-22 – The ZBA meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 30th has been cancelled due to no new applications. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 28th.
10-23-22 – NRI Advisory Committee will not meet this coming Tuesday and will plan to meet on Nov. 29th downstairs at the Milan town hall at 5:30pm. We don’t have that much to discuss and two of the members of the committee have COVID.

07-01-22 – Please join us for the unveiling of the Jacob Shook historical marker located on Shookville Road in the town of Milan, New York. The ceremony takes place Saturday, July 23, 2022, 10 a.m. Jacob Shook was Milan’s second supervisor, post master, and served in the Dutchess County militia from 1811 through 1816. In 1833, he and his brother, Peter, donated land for the construction of the Shookville Church and Cemetery. This historical marker is made possible through the William Pomeroy Foundation and was granted for the thorough and important research done by Bonnie Wood, who is a descendant of prominent Milan citizens. 06-13-22 – Wilcox Memorial Park Update: Swimming at Wilcox Memorial Park is CLOSED for the 2022 season due to the ongoing construction of a splash pad water play recreation area. Hiking, camping, and pavilion usage is still available. Check DutchessNY.Gov for up-to-date information regarding the use of these facilities.
06-01-22 – The Transfer Station is open regular hours on Saturdays from 7:30am to 1:00pm unless a holiday occurs on that Saturday.
